This graphic shows a uvLayer canvas with friends and various collections of videos.
The taskbar serves as a docking point for the various panels for the application: Inbox, uvRank, Search, and Activity (each described below). The taskbar hides when not in use.
The left side of the canvas displays a list of friends from your Facebook, AIM, and GoogleTalk services. Those users who are not currently logged on are grayed out and appear below those who are. You can click each group name to collapse or expand it. Above the list, there's a friend's silhouette that you can click to select auto-hide friends and show friend's names alongside their profile pictures.
